The French Revolution (starring me, HJ, with guest appearances by the blondes)
So fun fact of the day: did you know that the French word for bread is pain? I didn't, (I know, like, three words in French and one is bonjour) but it makes sense seeing as I am so full right now I might burst. My French trip was short, but meaningful. Paris was my first glimpse at Europe and the different life I would be living for the next four months.
We did all the touristy things one must do when you go to Paris. By we, I mean my mother, grandmother and me. They decided my European adventure should begin with a three-generation vacation. They will be referred to henceforth as "the blondes."
I am currently sitting in the Paris airport, waiting for my flight to Rome. My two days in Paris flew by and my stay in Rome seems more real. There is this part of me that somehow cannot believe that the blondes will leave me in a foreign country. Then again, my mother's favorite phrase is, "It's character building." What a load of crepe (haha please pretend to laugh, I'm sensitive).
I'll try to post pictures and more about France later. The blondes seem to enjoy bugging the writer (ahem, me).
Au revoir!
P.S. Sorry this is so late. It was written a while ago, but the internet has been spotty here.
